Our Telephone prop was designed with a room escape owner's real needs in mind. Unlike other escape room phones, you're able to self-program 100+ phone numbers, see what the players are dialing in real time, hook the device up to multiple phones — and much more. Click the chart to the left for a side-by-side comparison of our Telephone prop compared to other phones in the industry.

The best part? Our telephone prop flexes with the needs of your location. You can use the phone multiple times in one game.

How It Works

Picture
Purchase the device complete with one of our phones — or buy the device only, and hook it up to your own phone. When players press the correct numbers in the right order, they can hear a recorded message…a musical message. Or, program the phone to trigger a relay that automatically unlocks a door, turn off the lights, or anything else you can think of.

This is a stand-alone prop that requires no special software. Connect it once to your network to program, and it works as a standalone prop. Or keep it connected to your local ethernet network and use the Live-Status View features. No internet connection needed! No relying on the outside world. We designed our prop to be rock solid. Our custom-built industrial-strength hardware was manufactured in the USA, so you can rely on it game after game, day after day.

Flexes With Your Game
A fun tech device that can change your entire game. Use it multiple times in every game and as a way to offer "easy" and "difficult" game versions. Works great as a stand alone prop, or connected to your network. See phone and game ideas below.

This is an extremely flexible tech prop that you can build your entire game around. (i.e. they need to keep coming back to the phone to make different calls to various characters in your game's story). You can also use it to create various game play levels. For an "easy game", you can provide clues leading to telephone numbers that contain very direct messages. For a difficult game, offer phone numbers that lead to messages that are more vague. If a game is going too slow, make an announcement and have them call a number that leads to a free clue! The built-in software even allows you to enable and disable different messages, depending on the game you want them to play. The possibilities are endless.

  • Easily program 100+ phone numbers (build a game around the phone)
  • Works with most touch-tone phones (style to your game)
  • Plug & Play (easy to install)
  • Built in Relay (activate a switch)

Game Ideas

How can you use this telephone?
Have players call multiple numbers. Use it as a pivotal communication tool.

• Character Phone Numbers – Make your game immersive. Have players call different "characters" and figures in your game. Include a little black book clue.
• Answering Machine Message –
Have players dial an "answering machine message" that presents vital information.
• Phone Error Message – create humor by adding a prank message when players dial the wrong number
• Clue Distribution – Program the phone with numbers that contain vital info they need throughout the game. When players need a clue, just distribute the phone number to them
• Spy Phone – Make your phone a detective's phone where players feel like they're "listening in" to various live conversations
• Musical Clue – Have players call the phone and get a sound clip of a song they needed to unlock the next game stage.
• Start Action – When they call the right number, add a congratulations message and have the phone automatically open an action (lights go off, door opens, etc…)
• Multiple Phones – Connect multiple phones to the same prop. In a multiple room game, each room can have a different era phone.
